A kitchen that was well loved for over 30 years was ready for an update and here is the outcome.
What We Did
Opting for a classic combination of warm white upper cabinets and rich, deep brown stained base cabinets, relatively neutral countertop, flooring and wall colours keeps this kitchen easy on the eye so you can enjoy the lovely & unique decorative metal range hood, and the subtle but gorgeous backsplash tiles.
This renovation did not require moving any walls, but the strategic layout of cabinetry allowed for multiple features that have enhanced not just how this kitchen looks, but how the homeowners use it as well.
What We Used
Door Style: Mission
Cabinet Colours: Parchment Paint & Hazelnut on Clear Alder
What We Love
This kitchen has an incredible amount of storage with 12” deep pantry cabinets with adjustable shelving to the left of the wall ovens, as well as the tall pull-out for supplements and dry goods right of the frigde, the full-height china cabinet in the dining area - and even more storage in the adjacent laundry room.
Let’s not forget the super functional inserts included like the spices & oils pull-out on either side of the range, the blind corner base cabinet with shelves that pivot all the way out for easy access, or the lift-up mixer shelf, inside a cabinet in the island for a hidden baking station at the ready.
